Utstyr, biomekanikk og hestevelferd – hvordan henger det sammen?
30–31 May 2026
This two-day course offers an in-depth exploration of the relationship between equipment, biomechanics, and equine welfare — available both on-site and as a live online experience.
Through individual lessons with riders and horses at different levels, we will examine how equipment influences movement, posture, balance, and overall well-being. The practical sessions provide concrete examples, while the accompanying theory lectures deepen the understanding of functional biomechanics and its direct connection to responsible training and horse welfare.
Participants joining online will have access to the full two-day live stream, allowing them to follow all sessions in depth — from practical work to theoretical input — regardless of location. Recordings of the event will also be available for 14 days after the course, offering the opportunity to revisit key moments and deepen the learning experience.
Bent Branderup will guide participants through both practical and theoretical perspectives. Beyond technical aspects, the course also addresses the broader responsibility we carry as horsepeople — ensuring that our choices of equipment and training methods support the horse’s long-term soundness and development.
